Listen to what our clients are saying!
“When I went to Alpine PT for my back pain, I couldn’t bend forward. After my therapist treated me for 20 minutes, I got up and had no back pain, and I could reach down and touch my toes. Now my pain is gone and I’m back to my workouts!”
“I’ve had neck pain since my car accident five years ago. After one ten-minute session with my physical therapist, my neck pain was gone for the first time. It’s been over a week since that one treatment, and I’m still feeling great. Thank you!”
The technology was developed by John Iams, a physical therapist for more than 40 years from Poway, California. The approach is based on two primal reflexes in humans, the startle reflex and the withdrawal reflex. When the body experiences trauma, stress, pain, or disease, the nervous system may become up regulated, meaning our reflexes take hold of the body, limiting range of motion and heightening pain. The examination and treatment using PRRT™ attempts to “down regulate” the sympathetic stress that is often present and which may be contributing to joint and muscle restrictions and ongoing pain.
- Commit to a minimum of 4 sessions to fully benefit from this approach.
- Call 251-2323 to schedule your first PRRT™ session.
- Arrive 15 minutes early on your first session.
