Unlock Your Swing: Golf Assessments at Alpine PT – Linda Vista

Are pain, stiffness, or injury keeping you off the course — or limiting your performance? Whether you’re recovering from an injury or simply want to move and swing more efficiently, our Golf Assessment at Alpine PT is designed to help you return to golf with confidence.
At Alpine PT, we take a body-first approach to your golf swing. Your assessment begins with a comprehensive physical screen evaluating the mobility, stability, strength, and movement patterns essential for golf performance. We then use video swing analysis to see how your body influences your mechanics in real time.
After your session, you’ll receive personalized strategies and corrective exercises to improve movement, reduce pain, and support a safer, more efficient swing. In golf, physical limitations often show up in your mechanics — and addressing those limitations is key to lasting improvement.

What Is a Golf Assessment?

A Golf Assessment is a one-on-one evaluation designed to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. Your session may include:

  • A detailed physical screen based on Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) principles
  • Evaluation of golf-specific mobility, stability, strength, and balance
  • Video swing analysis to identify movement limitations and compensations
  • Identification of physical restrictions contributing to pain or swing faults
  • Personalized corrective exercises and return-to-play strategies
  • A customized plan to improve movement, mechanics, and confidence on the course
This is not a traditional golf lesson — it’s a clinical, movement-focused assessment designed to help your body support your swing.

Why Get a Golf Assessment?

This service is ideal for golfers recovering from injury, playing through pain, or looking to move more efficiently.
Benefits may include:

  • Returning to golf safely after injury or time away
  • Reducing pain in the low back, hips, shoulders, or elbows
  • Improving swing efficiency without forcing mechanical changes
  • Addressing the root cause of movement limitations
  • Building confidence in your body and swing
  • Preventing future injuries and setbacks
Whether your goal is recovery, prevention, or improved performance, this assessment helps you stay in the game longer.

Investment in Your Game

Golf Assessments at Alpine PT may be incorporated into a rehabilitation plan and billed through insurance when appropriate. Cash-based options are also available for golfers seeking a focused performance or return-to-play session.
Follow-up visits and progressive plans are available based on your goals.

Session Length

Each Golf Assessment is a 50–55 minute, one-on-one evaluation, allowing time for a thorough physical assessment, swing analysis, and personalized plan.
