Being the exclusive physical therapy sponsor of the annual Missoula Marathon has given Alpine Physical Therapy the opportunity to educate, treat, and connect with many in the running community. It seems that every year gets better and better.
This year topped the list. We provided post-race massages for over 120 runners. Our team, along with two massage therapists from the Spa at the Peak, went non-stop from 8 am to 1 pm. That’s a lot of massages. Alpine would like to congratulate everyone involved with this year’s event. For more information on the top stories of the Marathon, click here. Alpine Physical Therapy, the exclusive physical therapy sponsor of the annual Missoula Marathon, was front and center at this year’s Expo. As always, we were present at the Expo to provide pre-race injury consultation. This year, we threw a twist into things. We loaded up two CoreAlign units and made them available for people to demo at the Expo. Pam Eppard, Studio Manager at The Core Studio at Alpine, was on-hand to provide free CoreAlign demonstration instruction. People had a blast getting to know this new exercise method. The impact that CoreAlign is having on runners is profound. Many who exercise regularly using this method are running with remarkably greater performance . . . and with less pain.
