Covid-19 Policy at Alpine Physical Therapy
Alpine Physical Therapy follows the CDC recommendations and local Missoula County Health Department guidelines for COVID-19 policies in health care settings. Our current policies include:
1. Currently we are not requiring the use of masks in our clinics per the CDC recommendations. However, if you are more comfortable with a provider wearing a mask, our therapists will gladly put one on.
2. You will be asked screening questions for illness or known recent exposure to COVID-19 at each appointment.
If you have symptoms of illness or have been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please call the clinic with as much notice as possible to either reschedule your appointment or opt for a telehealth visit with your physical therapist.
3. Employees of Alpine will be required to stay home if they have any symptoms of or known exposure to COVID-19. A negative test for COVID-19 will be required prior to returning to work.
4. We encourage hand hygiene, and ask that you wash your hands or use sanitizer available at the entrance to the clinic prior to each appointment.
5. The treatment area and all equipment used will be thoroughly cleaned between each appointment.
6. If you prefer to wait outside or in your vehicle rather than the waiting area, please call the clinic office to let us know you have arrived and we will notify you when your PT is ready for your appointment.
7. Masks are currently not required in the PEAK Health and Wellness Center. If you prefer not to spend any time in the gym, please let your physical therapist know. We can easily accommodate this request and the entirety of your appointment can take place in the clinic in a less exposed area.
