“I can’t thank Katie enough, I think she may have saved my life.” “I am 67 years old and have been running for approximately 50 years. Last spring, I tore my meniscus on a trail run up and down Wasson Peak outside of Tucson, which basically took me out of running and severely limited my landscape photography. Bailey Lodato, PT, DPT, was invaluable in helping me to build up leg strength before and after my surgery in late July, which in turn helped me get back to my trail running. By the end of August I was doing Mt. Sentinel again with my wife, Jeri. We winter in Tucson; this season, I have done Wasson Peak about 17 times now (8 miles; 2,000 vertical feet) in addition to other regular trail runs. I still do the exercises Bailey prescribed. If I ever need PT again, I would not hesitate to call Bailey. “ "Peter wanted to return to serious backcountry skiing, mountaineering, and backpacking – all upright activities with bipedal movement. At the point that the CoreAlign was released Peter was primed to increase his training in a standing position. Peter had such a strong foundation of movement, control, balance, and flexibility that CoreAlign was the next level that offered exactly what he needed for his long-term rehabilitation goals. It was truly after using CoreAlign that we saw Peter returning to long days of ski touring, deep Alaskan backpack trips, and even surfing!" "Sally Brown came into physical therapy with a strong background in yoga so her alignment and control was quite good despite her injuries. However, as we worked with Sally and reduced her pain and returned her to higher level functions like hiking and gardening, we found deficits in her balance. CoreAlign, which some folks would describe as “yoga and tai chi on roller skates”, gave Sally exactly what we needed – to build her balance and her confidence in an erect standing position."

“Back in August, I had a very important volleyball game, where I ended up tearing my meniscus. And life as I knew it got extremely.... different. After receiving my scans and deciding I didn’t need surgery, I was referred to an Alpine Physical Therapy North. Where I had the absolute best PT, Marissa. Not only did Marissa help me get back to my normal, she also listened when I had concerns, pushed me to go heavier with the weights, and showed me dry needling is a love/hate relationship. And after 9ish weeks later I am done with PT....l’m going to miss our hour long gossip sessions.” "Brace Hayden is a master in helping heal vertigo. He is clear with his explanations of the issue, great with his diagnosis, strong with his clinical work and very skilled at teaching the client how to perform at home treatments. The staff at Alpine always is upbeat and helpful. Once again I am back working my PT at Alpine. I have had recent shoulder surgery and both Brace and Jess Kehoe have been leading my PT. They are both truly skilled with their work. They understand the body and lead a client towards healing every session. Both Jess and Brace are fine people. Their level of care would be hard to match. I love Alpine PT." "I have been a patient at Alpine Physical Therapy on and off for more than four years. As a professional rock-climber, I have had numerous potentially career-ending injuries from dislocated ribs, ruptured disks in my back, biceps tendonitis, a dislocated kneecap, along with the muscular damage and weakness resulting from these injuries. I have worked most extensively with Leah Versteegen and Samantha Schmidt who’ve used multiple therapies including Pilates-based rehabilitation, CoreAlign®, functional dry needling, and IASTM. Leah and Samantha are the two most compassionate, creative, and effective PTs I have worked with throughout my climbing career. |
